This competency equips instructors to support students in establishing a robust foundation in the principles of English language teaching and learning. By applying their understanding of these principles, students will be prepared to become professional bilingual educators who can effectively address the increasing national demand for English education.

Business English Application Competency

The rising frequency of international trade and commerce has led to a heightened demand for professionals skilled in business communication across both domestic and international markets. This program aims to expand students' global perspectives and enhance their competencies in business English communication, intercultural interaction, and professional correspondence. The objective is to equip students with the language and communication skills necessary to excel in a competitive global job market.

Information Technology Application Competency

As technological advancements reshape learning methods, the ability to navigate information technology has become essential for contemporary learners. This competency enables students to transcend traditional passive learning by actively engaging with digital resources and broadening their knowledge through technology. The Department recognizes this skill as a core competency, aimed at enhancing learning efficiency and ensuring that students can effectively access and utilize online information.

Logical and Critical Thinking in Language

Effective communication is crucial in everyday life as well as in professional settings. For language professionals, logical reasoning and critical thinking are indispensable for crafting clear messages and promoting meaningful interactions. This competency directs both teaching and learning efforts toward enhancing students’ skills in logical reasoning, critical analysis, problem-solving, and innovation. The goal is to develop language users who can express themselves clearly, critically analyze situations, and become articulate communicators with strong judgment.

Workplace English Communication Competency
