Introduction

1. Training international-perspective talents in English that industries need

 01  Undergraduate program:

        Train global-minded specialists in English and help them, with an approach combining global and local, to acquire skills in English teaching, international business, and cultural communication.        

02  Continuing education program:

        Train global-view talents in English, equipping them with globally and locally needed skills in English teaching, international business, and cultural communication.      

03  M.A. program:

    Groom world-vision talents in English teaching and ESP (English for Specific Purposes), offering a program designed specifically to meet the demands of primary and junior high schools.       

2. Educational Goals  

01  Train global-minded talents in English through competency-based approaches (undergraduate program/continuing education program). 

02  Groom international-view educators in advanced English (M.A. program).

03  Integrate theory with practice in learning and teaching.  

04  Core abilities:

    Englisg expertise, International communication,  professional certification , and language competence

05  Basic literacies:

    Work ethics, human values, international vision, and independent thinking   

3.  School System   

01   Day school, division of continuing education, and graduate institute    

02   Three major courses:

       English teaching, international business English, and cultural communication    

03   Two Modules:

       English Teaching Module and Business English Module (available from 2014 onward)  

04   Four major credit programs:

       Business English Program,

       International Tour Guide/Leader Training Interdisciplinary Program,

       Transportation Operation Staff Training Program, and International Accounting and Finance Professional Program.
